Khade Masale Ka Chicken | Resturant in Delhi
Every cook, new or old, will always have some recipes up their fold which they can dish out fairly quickly. You might learn some of these from the time you spend in the kitchen or from your family or friends. I too have some of these recipes and today I share one of them here. This recipe of khade masale ka chicken is something I learnt from my dad. We often make chicken and other dishes like these with a fair amount of time on our hands by parching onions withmasala. However, there are times when you want to make it quickly without spending much time. This recipe does not depend on the initial parching and does all within a quick span. So, go ahead and satisfy your taste buds today with this delicious khade masale ka chicken.
All you need is:
Vegetable oil – 4 tbsp
Dry red chili – 3-4
Bay leaves – 2
Cloves – 4-5
Whole black peppers – 6- 8
Black cardamom – 3-4
Cinnamon – 1-inch piece
Javitri – 1-inch piece
Onion – 4-5 (large, thinly sliced)
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp (freshly made)
Curd – 1/2 cup
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Chicken – 500 gm
Fresh coriander to garnish
Khade Masale Ka Chicken Recipe
Add oil in a heavy-bottom pan.
Add whole red chilies and bay leaves.
Fry for 10 seconds.
Add whole black pepper, black cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and javitri.
Fry for 10 seconds.
Add onions and fry for 3-4 minutes.
Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 3-4 minutes.
Add curd, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala powder and chicken.
Cover and cook till chicken is done and oil is separated from the masala.
Keep stirring in between.
Garnish with fresh coriander.
Serve hot with naan.
