Momos
Momos
Originally belonging to the north eastern states of India, specifically the state of Sikkim, Momos are also known as dumplings in various regions. I remember having them during my childhood at a fare where food from different states were available at their respective stalls. However, now Momos are easily available even at street food joints and a lot of restaurants and hotels across India. These steamed snacks are even loved by kids. They are made with white flour and can be filled with your choice of shredded vegetables like cabbage, carrots, potatoes or non-veg fillings like chicken, mutton, fish or lamb. These go best as a snack and should be served hot with a chilly sauce. Today I give you a simple recipe to make Momos and please your kids with a nice treat at home.
